thumbAudio: Srinivas Acharya and the stolen books. Srinivas Acharya, Narottama Thakur and Shyamananda Prabhu were sent by Jiva Goswami to preach in Bengal with the books of the Goswamis. On the way, the books were stolen by King Birahambir who had heard from his astrologer that those trunks contained a great treasure. Later, when meeting with the King, Srinivas explained the proper meaning of Srimad-Bhagavatam. The King was so impressed that he confessed to having stolen the books and took shelter at Srinivas Acharya's lotus feet and begged for initiation.
