Water,
juices, coffee, tea, rolls and granola bars but no maha prasada.
A
good time to check our own supplies. 5.5 liters of water; check,
health food; check, Barley Green and powdered carrot juice; check
and check, Cold & Flu remedy; check.
Man does not
live by bread alone. More water, powdered greens, cashews, almonds,
trail mix and, well of course, some milk chocolate and a spoon.
That should do it. "In the unlikely event we should have to
alight on water," we should be able to manage for a few weeks
or so in the life raft.
The business
end of the lounge is nicely organized. Almost every seat has an
electrical outlet and ethernet connection nearby for accessing the
internet. Sending an e-mail message to His Divine Grace via Jamuna
Priya Devi was made even easier with the wireless network accessed
via our "Airport" card.
OK,
back to the real business at hand, on to LA.
No,
I'm not trying to rub it in, this just turns out to be one of
my better photos.
Huge
parking lots, casino (upper right), horse racing track and green,
green grass. Could this be LA?
The horizon
fades into smog as cars stopped on a giant freeway wait to move
the next few feet. The "Herbalife" building (bottom right)
holds out the promise of a long and healthy life. Yes, I'd say this
could be Los Angeles, CA. ("If I could just get off of this
LA freeway without getting killed or caught...")
A welcome
sight. His Holiness Sripad Bhakti Chandan Parvat Maharaj favors
me with his association, sweet disposition and a ride to Sriman
Jaganath Swami's house.
