The
programme was led by Sripad Bhakti Bimal Avadhut Maharaj and Sripad
Bhakti Chaitanya Bharati Maharaj. They began with evening arati
followed by Sripad Avadhut Maharaj chanting the glories of Srila
Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj and reading from Sri Sri
Prapanna-jivanamritam.
All
were captivated by the classes by the sannyasis.
Nitai
Chand Prabhu offering the ghee-wick lamp to Srila Gurudev.
Sripad
Avadhut Maharaj leading the lively kirttan.
Two days before Sri Guru-Puja a new bookshop opened in our downtown
Moscow Centre. Many books are offered there: the books published
by Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, many books by Srila Bhaktivedanta
Swami Prabhupada, as well as books about healthy living and ayurveda.
The
programme concluded with a big feast...
...with
many preparations.
Right
after finishing the programme, while devotees and guests were still
honouring prasadam, Sripad Avadhut Maharaj offered his obeisances
to Srila Gurudev and to all the assembled Vaishnavas and then left
to Tomsk for a one week midwinter Siberian preaching tour.
