to Govardhan and Vrindavan
Outward journey, Nabdwip to Govardhan: 18 and 19 October 2006

Starting through the narrow streets of Nabadwip...
...and a wet journey to Kolkata.
Gathered at Howrah Station, the busiest railway station in the world...
...and to the train - and prasadam seva, by the grace of the devotees of our Dum Dum Park Temple, Kolkata.
Kirttan along the way, chanting Hare Krishna...
...and being happy.
Dhira Kirshna Prabhu of Venezuela...
...and Ratan Krishna Prabhu, one of Srila Govinda Maharaj's personal servants when His Divine Grace is in India.
Arriving a little late in Tundala, devotees make their way to hired buses for a further two hours journey to Govardhan.
After midnight, reaching the shelter of our Srila Sridhar Swami Seva Ashram, Govardhan.
Honouring prasadam before retiring for much needed rest after the long journey from Nabadwip.

Additional pictures as the Pilgrimage starts out from Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math.
