On his 23rd World Tour Srila Gurudev Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj has been distributing so much mercy and affection, and for three months he has visited six different countries and met with devotees of all around the world. Here in our Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Seva Ashram in Soquel, California, we find many devotees from Mexico, Italy, Australia, and so many other places and they are very happy and glowing recounting their experiences of Srila Gurudev's tour so far.
By his inconceivable affection and dedication Srila Gurudev has brought the banner of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math worldwide. Although he is accompanied by so many devotees it just feels like he himself is playing the karatals and the mrdanga; that he is doing the cooking and is distributing that Prasadam; that he is teaching us by his own beautiful example to tolerate everything in our service, and that by his energy he is engaging everybody wherever he goes in the service of Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga and encouraging us to go on happily in our service.
It's a beautiful Sunday morning in our Soquel Seva Ashram and Srila Gurudev is sitting on his veranda orchestrating our whole mission. There are devotees busy everywhere you look. The kitchen is in motion all day long cooking so many opulent types of foodstuff as everybody is getting ready for initiations. There will be first and second initiations today. And they are all happily awaiting for it to start.
So many wonderful devotees are working day and night for this festival to happen, under the guidance of Sripad Janardan Maharaj and so many other stalwart members of our mission. It is all flowing nicely for the satisfaction of Sri Guru and all the other Vaisnavas.
Yesterday Srila Gurudev went all the way up the hill and from there he can survey all our ashram. As he places his glance on all of us and the whole temple property we know that what he sees is far from what our eyes can see, not only because with his vision he extracts the best of us and the environment, but because he is always thinking about how he will engage it and maintain it in the service of his Srila Guru Maharaj. Not a single thing escapes his attention, and nothing is unworthy of his affection if it is remotely connected to his mission and his service.
So as Srila Gurudev comes nearer the end of his 23rd World Tour we can see that the sun truly never sets on the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math, as the world has been inundated by his affectionate guidance.
