Many people - devotees and guests - are present for Guru Arati.
The assembly includes several sannyasis and honourable Vaishnavas.

The devotees make offerings and give their dandavat pranams at the lotus feet of Srila Gurudev.
The lotus feet of Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj.

Srila Gurudev expresses that the Name of the Deities should include Radharani's Name, since Radha-Raman refers only to Sri Krishna.
He explained that Gandharvika is a very suitable Name for Her here, and said this is also the Name chosen by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupad for Radharani at his Temple in Sri Mayapur Dham.

Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj goes on to sing two songs: Jaya Radha Jaya Krishna Jaya Vrindavan, and Hari Haraye Namah Krishna.
Asked to speak by Srila Gurudev, Sripad Goswami Maharaj tells why Kolkata is such an important place for a Temple and remembers the days before our Temples at Kaikhali and Dum Dum Park were established.

After the talks and kirttan, Srila Gurudev leaves the nat mandir to go to his quarters.
He bows before the Deities, with an extraordinarily beautiful flower decoration before Them.

Sripad Ashram Maharaj (of Mexico) sings the Mahamantra while Srila Gurudev leaves, then Sripad Siddhanti Maharaj (of USA) leads Bhoga Arati.
Sripad Bhagavat Maharaj (of India) leads noon Arati, and all join enthusiastically.

The devotees are keen to receive the blessings from the 108-ghee-lamp that has just been offered to Their Lordships.
Sachisuno Prabhu is the pujari conducting the ceremony.

Later everybody files into the prasadam room. There are several preparations and it takes many servers to distribute all of them to the many people present to honour prasadam on this special day
The prasadam room cannot contain everybody and the rows spill out into the corridor. Nonetheless, a second sitting is still necessary!
