| | This 8th Youth Camp was organized by Vrajavasi Prabhu, Bhagavan Prabhu
and Madhavi Devi Dasi. Bhagavan Prabhu's wife, Subha Laksmi Devi Dasi,
was also very active, as well as Madhavi Devi Dasi's husband, Purusottama
          Prabhu.

  The
Youth Camp was attended by approximately sixty devotees: children, youth,
and adults. Laksmi Rani Devi Dasi, Gauravani Devi Dasi, Saranagati Devi
Dasi, Anumitra Prabhu, and Dhruvananda Prabhu came from Mexico City.
Jagannath Swami Prabhu came from Chulavista, California; Arjjuna Prabhu's
wife (Shyama-nalini Devi Dasi) and four of their kids came from Monterrey.
Vrindavan Prabhu came from Reynosa, and from Morelia came Bhagavan Prabhu
and Subha Laksmi Devi Dasi, Madhavi Devi Dasi and Purusottama Prabhu,
Madhura Mayi Devi Dasi and Priyeswari Devi Dasi. Also devotees from
Celaya came: Lila Rupa Devi Dasi and Arun Krishna Prabhu, Ajita Krishna
Prabhu and his wife Ratnavali Devi Dasi, as well as Vrajavasi Prabhu,
Syama Vilas Prabhu and Hriday Ratan Prabhu. I was the only one who came
          from Yucatan.
Kirttida Devi Dasi and her daughters, Lalita Dasi and Dhanistha Dasi,
came one night and stayed with all of us for the program. Jagannath
Swami Prabhu preached very enthusiastically, and devotees liked his
          classes.

All together, It lasted nine days, and on Friday, July 29, we all went
to a nearby town by the name of Patzcuaro. There in Patzcuaro we did
Harinam Sankirtan in the streets with all the devotees. We left the
Youth Camp premises at 11:00 a.m., and came back after doing Harinama
Sankirtan, at 4;00 p.m. The town of Patzcuaro is about one hour distance
from our Youth Camp. After coming back all of the devotees very eagerly
honored Sri Bhagavat Prasadam to their full satisfaction.

The closing day, Saturday, July 30, was very special with the children
along with their teachers presenting a drama on Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's
Pastimes. Every single devotee, whether child or adult, had a chance
to speak some words expressing how they felt, and what things they liked
most about this summer camp. In a general way, everyone was very happy,
and all were thankful to His Divine Grace Srila Govinda Maharaj for
allowing them this opportunity to participate in such program.

Offering my dandavat pranams to the lotus feet of Srila Govinda Maharaj,
and to all the devotees around the world,

 ~Swami B.K. Ashram
