Nadanghat Devotees' Pilgrimage

by foot to Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math

Pictures of New Year's Day, 2004

An auspicious start to 2004: Devotees from Nadanghat arrive after a fifteen kilometer walk with Sankirttan from their village. This is the same journey Srila Govinda Maharaj made by foot in the early morning of Nrsimha Chaturdasi, 1947, to join Srila Guru Maharaj at Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math.

After parikrama of Sri Govinda Kunda the devotees and their two Vijaya Murtis of Sriman Mahaprabhu hear Hari-katha in front of Srila Guru Maharaj's Temple of Union in Separation.

Then followed three sittings of Maha-Prasadam distributed to the appreciative pilgrims.
