On November 3rd, the group of Westerners staying with Srila Gurudev in Dum Dum Park travelled a short distance to attend the Sri Govardhan Puja Festival held at our Kaikhali, Sree Chaitanya Saraswata Krishnanushilana Sangha.

Srila Gurudev expressed much happiness to visit the Math and meet the devotees of Kaikhali, he also mentioned the natural devotional mood of the community surrounding the Math. After speaking briefly about the holy Pastimes associated with this day, Srila Gurudev continued to speak of the history of the Kaikhali Math.

Afterwards, Srila Gurudev led the devotees in joyfully chanting Jaya Radha Madhava.

Sripad B.K. Ashram Maharaj, who arrived a few days ago from Mexico.

After addressing the devotees in the nat mandir, Srila Gurudev left to walk around the Temple grounds.

Meanwhile, at Srila Gurudev's request, Murali Mohan Prabhu (playing the mrdanga) led bhajans in the nat mandir. The evening before Srila Gurudev had been especially pleased to hear Murali Mohan Prabhu and some of the other Turkish devotees leading kirttans in Dum Dum Park.
