This is the place were Sri Hadai Pandit and Srimati Padmavati Devi lived and raised their divine son.
The beautiful deity residing there is exquisite. We hope to be receivers of the Lord's mercy.

The banner proudly announcing the Sree Chaitanya Sarswata Krishnanushilana Sangha continues to lead the kirttan.
Sripad Acharyya Maharaj has been extremely busy preparing for this grand event yet continues tirelessly.

Near the road where the large gate announces this path as the way to Sri Nityananda Janmasthan, the pilgrims pause to take a few droplets of the Yamuna on their heads.
It is said the Yamuna becomes narrow at Ekachakra because she fears Lord Nityananda, who is non-different from Lord Balaram.

Right along the road, we take a turn left towards a cluster of Temples and pause at the first one to pay our obeisances.
In every holy place, Lord Shiva resides as protector of the Dham.

Only a few feet further is another Temple.
Here reside Sri Jagannath, Baladev and Subhadra.

Just further is the Bankarai Temple, where the deity resides with two consorts. Although Bankarai is actually a name of Krishna, it is used here for Nityananda Prabhu.
This deity was installed by Virachandra, the son of Sri Nityananda Prabhu himself!

The sankirttan party proceeds past the building that previously served as accommodation for our devotees prior to and during the construction of the new ashram.
The kirttan is no less enthusiastic, with four mrdangas and several karatals accompanying the chanting of the Holy Name.

The darshan is complete, and a turn is made towards the ashram.
Ekachakra Dham, even for those of imperfect vision, is a beautiful place, retaining all of Bengal's rural charm.
