Meanwhile, devotees prepare innumerable potatoes for the subji.
Three large cooking pots are used for cooking. Prasadam for so many is a big affair.

Cooked khichri is transferred into a bucket to be placed with the rest in the three large vats.
During service time, khichri is transfered from the vats into the service buckets for distribution.

Thousands of people are lined up in double rows for honouring prasadam, while distributors run hither and tither hoping to satisfy them all.
As some prepare to leave, others arrive to receive their share. Prasadam distribution continues ceaselessly throughout the day.

Within the newly inaugurated building, the police officers await their share of prasadam.
They appear very happy with the smooth running of the whole programme.

Several devotees from around the world have come to attend this special, historical event.
A prasadam of khichri, subji and rasagulas is served. Some even receive fruits and gulabjamuns from the Lord's own plate.

The tent is decorated by many famous slokas spoken by, or describing, Sri Nityananda Prabhu. All emphasise His infinitely merciful nature.
These two lines are repeatedly found in the Sri Nityananda Dvadasakam composed by Srila Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj.

The afternoon is spent inbetween kirttan and Hari-katha, with many references to the new book in English: The Nectarean Glories of Sri Nityananda Prabhu.
Jagadananda Prabhu from USA gives his very lively contribution, while Sripad Tirtha Maharaj translates.

The programme concludes in the evening with a lively kirttan on the stage and several dancers in the crowd.
Sandhya Arati followed by distribution of more prasadam concludes the events of a truly special day.
