The Eleventh World Tour of His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Maharaj, the President-Acharya of the Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math in Nabadwip, India, and its International Centers, included visits to Mauritius and South Africa.

His Divine Grace left Calcutta on May 17th, spent a day and a half with the devotees in Bombay [now locally known as Mumbai], and then flew to Mauritius, arriving early in the morning of May 19th.

This was Srila Govinda Maharaj's third visit to Mauritius. He previously visited that beautiful tropical island off the east coast of Africa during his Eighth World Tour in December 1996, and his Third World Tour? in 1992, where one of the highlights was a lecture to college students on Life's Destination.

The next stop on the Eleventh World Tour was South Africa, that beautiful country with a dark past and a bright future. This was also Srila Govinda Maharaj's third visit to that country. Many preaching programs and initiations were held in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, and Johannesburg.

Srila Gurudev left South Africa on June 12th, arrived in Bombay on June 13th, and returned to Calcutta on June 15th.
